Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory leak issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel, specifically in the drm/imagination module. The issue occurred when the module was unloaded, causing memory used to hold firmware image processing results to be leaked. Additionally, the same memory was leaked if firmware image processing failed during module load. The fix ensures that all firmware GEM objects are destroyed if firmware image processing fails, thus preventing memory leaks.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
