Description
The issue is related to the function
dpu plane virtual atomic check in the Linux kernel, which was dereferencing pointers returned by drm atomic get plane state without checking for errors. This could lead to undefined behavior if the function returns an error pointer. The problem has been resolved by adding checks using IS ERR to ensure that plane state is valid before dereferencing them.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
