Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
WooCommerce Digital Content Delivery (incl. DRM) – FlickRocket plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 4.74
Description
The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages via the
start date and end date parameters. This enables attackers to execute scripts if they can trick a user into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 4.74, consider disabling the use of the
start date and end date parameters until a patch is available. Restrict access to pages that utilize these parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the start date and end date parameters in affected pages until the issue is resolved.Fix
