VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue is related to the drm/amd/display component, specifically with the dcn314 module. The optc2 configure crc() function, which wraps optc1 configure crc() and sets additional registers, is not applicable to dcn314 and generates warnings when used. The warnings are not critical but can lead to issues. The call trace includes functions such as generic reg set ex(), optc2 configure crc(), dc stream configure crc(), and amdgpu dm crtc configure crc source().
Recommendations Use optc1 configure crc() directly to resolve the issue.
