CVE-2022-49821

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A possible memory leak in the mISDN module has been resolved. The issue occurred after a commit where the device name is allocated dynamically, and the reference is given up using put device(), allowing the name to be freed when the reference count is 0. The entry is freed in mISDN dsp dev release(), and list del() is called, which needs to be initialized.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
