Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A connections leak issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The problem occurred when the tlink setup failed, causing a module reference count leak because the cifsd kthread did not exit. This also led to a leak of fscache information, resulting in errors when attempting to mount with fsc, such as "CIFS: Cache volume key already in use". The issue has been addressed by checking the result of the tlink setup and performing cleanup.
