Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the octeontx2-pf driver. The issue was related to the checking of available SQE count, which could result in the driver submitting an SQE before the CQE for the previously transmitted SQE at the same index is processed, leading to a leak of SKB pointers. This was fixed by checking a consumer index that is updated once the CQE is processed.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
