Description
A memory leak issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The problem occurs when the device register() function fails, and it does not properly release the reference by calling put device(). As a result, the name allocated in dev set name() cannot be freed in the kobject cleanup() callback function.

At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
