Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the bp nouveau ajax media save function. This allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to and including 2.8.50, update to version 2.8.51 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the media upload function to minimize the risk of exploitation.
