Description A issue in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the dm stats init() function. The problem occurs when alloc percpu() fails, causing a NULL pointer dereference in dm stats cleanup(), even if dm-stats is not being actively used. This issue is addressed by checking the return value of alloc percpu() and propagating the error.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
