Description A issue in the Linux kernel has been identified where the packet length retrieved from a descriptor may be larger than the actual socket buffer length, leading to a leak of kernel memory contents. Additionally, an integer underflow can occur when the size is less than ETH FCS LEN. This issue is related to the lan78xx driver in the network stack.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
