Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the octeontx2-vf component. The issue arises from a missing
free percpu call for the allocated vf->hw.lmt info variable, similar to the pf->hw.lmt info variable in the drivers/net/ethernet/marvell/octeontx2/nic/otx2 pf.c file. This memory leak can be avoided by adding the necessary free percpu call.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
