CVE-2023-53095

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A NULL pointer dereference issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The issue is related to the LRU mechanism, which may look up a resource in the process of being removed from an object. The locking rules for res->bo assignment and bo->resource are protected by different locks, specifically the LRU lock and the object lock. To avoid dereferencing a NULL bo->resource in ttm bo swapout(), a check is performed before deciding to swap out a bo.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
