CVSS v3.1

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Scratch & Win – Giveaways and Contests plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.7.1
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing nonce validation on the reset installation() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to reset the plugin's installation via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.7.1, consider disabling the reset installation() function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the plugin's installation reset functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
