CVE-2025-0853

CVSS v3.1

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PGS Core plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 5.8.0
Description The issue is related to SQL Injection via the event parameter in the save header builder function due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries, which can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 5.8.0, consider disabling the save header builder function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the event parameter in the affected function to minimize the risk of SQL Injection attacks.

Fix
