CVSS v3.1

7.1

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the net sched component. The issue arises from the cp->alloc hash not being updated after hash allocation in tcindex alloc perfect hash(), potentially leading to an out-of-bounds access. This was caused by a change in commit 599be01ee567, where the cp->hash calculation was moved before the first tcindex alloc perfect hash() call, but cp->alloc hash was left unchanged.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
