Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue is related to the spi-imx module, where the spi imx setupxfer() function's return value is not properly checked. This can lead to a NULL pointer dereference when spi imx->rx and spi imx->tx function pointers are NULL, causing a kernel crash. The call trace indicates that the issue occurs in the spi imx pio transfer() function.
