CVE-2025-2806

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions tagDiv Composer plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 5.3
Description The issue is related to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The data parameter is specifically vulnerable to this type of attack.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 5.3, consider disabling the data parameter in the affected API endpoint until a patch is available. Restrict access to the tagDiv Composer plugin to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the data parameter in pages that execute user-supplied input until the issue is resolved.
