VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue concerns a problem in the Linux kernel where runtime resume/suspend operations could occur while MS IOCTLs are in progress, leading to potential deadlocks. This happens because a failed suspend would trigger a call to ivpu ms cleanup(), which attempts to acquire file priv->ms lock, already held by the IOCTLs. The estimated number of potentially affected devices worldwide is not available. There is no information about real-world incidents where this issue was exploited.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
