Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A divide-by-zero issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the
pwm mediatek config() function. This issue arises when CONFIG COMPILE TEST is enabled and CONFIG HAVE CLK is not, causing the clk get rate() function to return zero. Although this is considered a theoretical problem due to the override of dependencies, it is still beneficial to explicitly check for the error to prevent divide-by-zero. The issue also generates a warning related to the pwm-mediatek.o object.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
