Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue is related to the
drm/amdkfd component, specifically with the debugfs hang hws interface used for GPU reset tests with HWS. For GPUs with MES, this could cause a kernel crash due to a NULL pointer access because dqm->packet mgr is not set up for the MES path. The debugfs hang hws interface will be supported for MES in the future.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
