Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, which previously caused an infinite loop to schedule a delayed worker in the page pool. This issue occurred when the inflight value went negative, indicating that the page pool would not return to normal operation. The problem was mitigated by preventing the kworker from rescheduling when a negative inflight value was detected in page pool release retry().
