CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue was related to the handling of queue information in the PDS core, where a wait context was not properly maintained, leading to potential kernel crashes and memory corruption. This occurred when a slow development firmware caused an adminq request to time out, but the firmware later completed the request and sent an interrupt, attempting to access a completion context that no longer existed.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
