CVSS v2.0
4.9
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:H/Au:S/C:C/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Unifi Protect Application versions 5.3.41 and earlier
Description:
The issue is related to a misconfigured access token mechanism in the Share Livestream feature of the Unifi Protect Application. This could allow an unauthorized user to maintain access to a livestream even after the corresponding "Share Livestream" link has been disabled. The vulnerability is associated with inadequate access control, which may permit a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information.
Recommendations:
For Unifi Protect Application versions 5.3.41 and earlier, consider disabling the Share Livestream feature until a patch is available to prevent potential unauthorized access to livestreams. Restrict access to the Share Livestream module to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
