CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions LmxCMS version 1.41
Description A critical issue has been found in the function manageZt of the file cadminZtAction.class.php of the component POST Request Handler. The manipulation of the argument sortid leads to SQL injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Recommendations For LmxCMS version 1.41, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the manageZt function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the POST Request Handler component to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the sortid argument in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
