Description:
The issue concerns the Sailthru Triggermail WordPress plugin, which does not properly sanitise and escape some of its settings. Additionally, it lacks CSRF protection, making it possible for subscribers to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This can occur even in configurations where the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, such as in multisite setups.
Recommendations:
For Sailthru Triggermail plugin for WordPress version 1.1 and earlier, update to a version that addresses the sanitisation and CSRF protection issues.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
