CVSS v3.1
4.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
The Competition Form WordPress plugin versions 2.0 and earlier
Description:
The issue is related to the lack of a CSRF check when updating settings, which could allow attackers to make a logged-in admin change them via a CSRF attack.
Recommendations:
For versions 2.0 and earlier, update to a version that includes a CSRF check to prevent unauthorized changes to settings.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the settings update functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation.
