CVE-2024-13357

CVSS v3.1

4.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Ditty WordPress plugin versions prior to 3.1.52
Description The issue concerns the Ditty WordPress plugin, which does not properly sanitize and escape some of its settings. This could allow high-privilege users, such as authors, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks, even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in a multisite setup.
Recommendations For versions prior to 3.1.52, update to version 3.1.52 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the Ditty plugin's settings to minimize the risk of exploitation.
