| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
WP Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 10.11.1
Description:
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's
wpbc shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Recommendations:
For WP Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 10.11.1, update to a version higher than 10.11.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
wpbc shortcode for users with contributor-level access and above until a patch is available.Fix
