isUCPCameraNameChanged of the file /sbin/ucp. The manipulation of the argument CameraName leads to a stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This issue only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.Recommendations:
For D-Link DCS-932L version 2.18.01, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
isUCPCameraNameChanged function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /sbin/ucp file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the CameraName argument in the affected function until the issue is resolved.
