CVE-2025-47758

CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: V-SFT versions 6.2.5.0 and earlier
Description: The issue is related to a stack-based buffer overflow in the VS6File!CTxSubFile::get ProgramFile name function. Opening specially crafted V7 or V8 files may lead to a crash, information disclosure, and arbitrary code execution. This allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via manipulated files.
Recommendations: For V-SFT versions 6.2.5.0 and earlier, consider disabling the VS6File!CTxSubFile::get ProgramFile name function until a patch is available to prevent the exploitation of the stack-based buffer overflow issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
