CVE-2025-47759

CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: V-SFT versions 6.2.5.0 and earlier
Description: The issue is related to a stack-based buffer overflow in the VS6ComFile!CV7BaseMap::WriteV7DataToRom function. Opening specially crafted V7 or V8 files can lead to a crash, information disclosure, and arbitrary code execution.
Recommendations: For V-SFT versions 6.2.5.0 and earlier, consider disabling the VS6ComFile!CV7BaseMap::WriteV7DataToRom function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to specially crafted V7 or V8 files to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
