Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
1003 Mortgage Application plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.87
Description
The issue is related to the
/inc/class/fnm/export.php file being publicly accessible with error logging enabled. This allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the full path of the web application, which can be used to aid other attacks. The information displayed is not useful on its own and requires another vulnerability to be present for damage to an affected website.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.87, consider disabling public access to the
/inc/class/fnm/export.php file or disabling error logging as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the export.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the affected plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Generation of Error Message Containing Sensitive Information
