Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the deletion of a default FDB entry in 'vnifilter' mode when a VNI is deleted from a VXLAN device. This issue results in a warning being generated due to the lack of a hash lock during the deletion process. The vulnerability can be reproduced by creating a VXLAN device, adding a VNI, and then deleting it. The fix involves acquiring the hash lock before deletion and releasing it afterwards.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
