Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue is related to the
htb qlen notify() function, which always deactivates the HTB class and could trigger a warning if it is already deactivated. This makes the function not idempotent and unfriendly to its callers, such as fq codel dequeue(). The resolution makes htb qlen notify() idempotent to ease the life of qdisc tree reduce backlog() callers.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
