CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A divide-by-zero issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The problem occurs when dib8000 set dds() calls dib8000 read32() and the result is zero. This issue is prevented to avoid a divide-by-zero error. The fix also addresses a warning with an UBSAN kernel related to dib8000 tune() falling through to the next function dib8096p cfg DibRx().
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
