Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel. The problem occurs when a CL/CSD job times out, and the GPU has made progress since the last timeout. In such cases, the reset is skipped, allowing long-running jobs to complete. However, this leads to the job being removed from the pending list and not being automatically freed, resulting in a memory leak. The issue is related to the
timedout job() function and the handling of job timeouts.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
