CVE-2025-37965

CVSS v2.0

6.2

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:H/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A bug in the Linux kernel has been resolved, which was causing a "BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context" error. The issue was related to the populate dml plane cfg from plane state() function using the GFP KERNEL flag for memory allocation in atomic contexts. To fix this, the helpers were modified to pass a pointer to scaler data within the existing context, eliminating the need for dynamic memory allocation and copying.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
