Description A kernel crash issue has been identified in the Linux kernel. The crash occurs when userspace invokes PR SET TAGGED ADDR CTRL, but the Supm extension is not available. This results in an illegal instruction error. The issue is resolved by checking if the Supm extension is available before proceeding with the PR SET TAGGED ADDR CTRL operation.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
