CVE-2025-37967

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A deadlock scenario in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue occurred when the ucsi displayport remove partner function held con->mutex waiting for dp altmode work to complete, while dp altmode work attempted to acquire it. This patch introduces the ucsi con mutex lock and ucsi con mutex unlock functions to the UCSI driver, ensuring the connector mutex is only locked if a connection is established and the partner pointer is valid.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
