CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A resource leak issue in the Linux kernel has been identified. The problem occurs when registering a queue fails after a successful blk mq sysfs register() call, but an error is encountered later. This results in a memory leak due to the lack of cleanup of blk mq sysfs resources. The issue is resolved by adding a missing blk mq sysfs unregister() call in the error path to properly clean up these resources.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
