CVE-2024-13680

CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Form Builder CP plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.2.41
Description The issue is related to SQL Injection via the id parameter of the "CP EASY FORM WILL APPEAR HERE" shortcode. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above can append additional SQL queries to existing queries, allowing them to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For Form Builder CP plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 1.2.41, consider disabling the CP EASY FORM WILL APPEAR HERE shortcode until a patch is available. Restrict access to the id parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the id parameter in the affected shortcode until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
