CVE-2025-4594

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Tournamatch plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 4.6.1
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'trn-ladder-registration-button' shortcode. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to and including 4.6.1, update to a version higher than 4.6.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the 'trn-ladder-registration-button' shortcode until a patch is available. Restrict access to the Tournamatch plugin to minimize the risk of exploitation, especially for users with contributor-level access or higher.
