CVE-2025-5236

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions NinjaTeam Chat for Telegram plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.1
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the username parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.1, consider disabling the username parameter until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the plugin's functionality to minimize the risk of arbitrary web script injection. Avoid using the username parameter in affected pages until the issue is resolved.
