Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Excerpt Highlights due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.24.5 (Free), update to a version later than 4.24.5 to resolve the issue. For versions up to, and including, 2.27.6 (Premium), update to a version later than 2.27.6 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Excerpt Highlights feature until a patch is available.
