Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.44.1

Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The id and data-size parameters are vulnerable to this issue.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.44.1, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the id and data-size parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation.
