Description
The issue is related to a missing capability check on the
ux cb page options save function, allowing authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Recommendations
For BM Content Builder plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.16.2.1, update to a version higher than 3.16.2.1 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
ux cb page options save function to prevent unauthorized modification of data.Fix
