| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Wavlink AC3000 version M33A8.V5030.210505
Description:
A system os command injection vulnerability exists in the
touchlistsync() function of touchlist sync.cgi. This issue can be triggered by a specially crafted set of HTTP requests, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can exploit this by sending a manipulated HTTP request.Recommendations:
For version M33A8.V5030.210505, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
touchlistsync() function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the touchlist sync.cgi module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable functionality in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
