CVE-2024-35148

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: IBM Maximo Application Suite versions 8.10.10 through 9.0
Description: The issue allows a remote attacker to send specially crafted SQL statements, potentially enabling them to view, add, modify, or delete information in the back-end database. This is due to the lack of measures to neutralize special elements used in the operating system command. Exploitation of the issue could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code and gain unauthorized access to protected information.
Recommendations: For versions 8.10.10 through 9.0, consider disabling the Monitor Component as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the database to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the Monitor Component until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
