Description
The issue is a NULL Pointer Dereference that could lead to application denial-of-service. An attacker could exploit this to crash the application, causing disruption in service. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations
For versions ID20.2, ID19.5.3 and earlier, avoid opening files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of file opening functionality until a patch is available.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
